Attorneys Sherry Neal and Jodi Greenberg handle adoptions for the firm, providing experienced legal help to families who wish to grow through adoption. Partner Sherry Neal, a fellow of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys and the founder of the Georgia Council of Adoption Lawyers, serves as lead counsel on adoption matters. The firm represents primarily adoptive parents, but Sherry and Jodi also enjoy assisting birth parents with making an adoption plan. While the firm’s practice is concentrated in the Metro Atlanta area, adoption work regularly takes Sherry and Jodi to counties throughout Georgia. Whether the adoption is completely local or crosses state or international lines, through a private or state agency, or via private placement, Sherry and Jodi work with clients during all stages of the adoption process. In addition, our attorneys and staff enjoy working with all types of adoptive parents: stepparents; grandparents and other relatives planning to adopt children already in their care; foster parents; married couples; same-sex couples; and singles.
